Animal and environment protection - Who are we?
We are established to seek to give voice to non-human animals and to promote sustainable actions which are environmentally friendly and sustainable.
Our objectives include:
1. Seeking to provide information on act of animal cruelty and actively discourage such practices, whilst seeking to propose day to day suggestions which may increase our respect for the environment and the natural habitat.
2. Seeking to provide services for the adoption of animals.
3. Establishing ties with existing commercial and non-commercial, whether nationally, regionally or globally established to sustain the resources required to promote our goals.
4. Support activism in favour of animal welfare, actions which are environmentally friendly and sustain responsible use of our natural habitat such as Green IT, and, Green construction.
5. Seeking to raise funding required to promote our goals and objectives whilst aiming to cover our costs and report income and expenditure along with transparent accountability for donations.
6. Abide by the principles established by the Maltese legislation and respecting international authoritative bodies, in particular the Animal Welfare Act 2002.
We do not currently take responsibility for investigation and pursuit of legal justice for cases of animal cruelty beyond forwarding your requests to the appropriate Police station, and, following up on progress, and, since we do this on a voluntary basis for the time being, we ask you not to shy away from reporting incidents of animal cruelty, and keep us in copy with your correspondence, as this aides our continuous research into current affairs that are relevant to the objectives of the organization.
